@trowie@PhilWilliams I seem to remember Phil strapped a Uher to his handlebars and recorded on Oxford Road. Good luck my former work experience placement.
The @CWGC continues to keep the memory of those servicemen and women who died in the two world wars alive. Today, two reburials for two unknown soldiers in the Somme. One from the Northumberland Fusiliers, one from an unknown regiment. We will remember them.
Although many start tomorrow #cricketisback, our 5ths played last Sunday against Kirkby Portland CC. Does this piece of fielding sum up #clubcricket? #backingup
@ProfessorBroad Ralph Bucill only emigrated to BC in 1912. Served in the Lancashire Volunteers before emigration. Went with his wife for a new life but came back to serve and die at Vimy. He honours both nations with his sacrifice. His name is omitted from his wife’s village memorial in Hawkshaw
Lovely day out at Fairford Church in Glos. Best complete collection of late medieval stained glass in the country. The devil is really vibrant. Also the graveyard is home to Tiddles the church cat who fell off the roof at 17.
Just to let people know that my cancer has returned and is aggressive. I have been given a prognosis of a year or so but intend to have more treatment to stay with the world for as long as possible.
A ceremony has today been held @CWGC’s Poznan Old Garrison Cemetery to mark #GreatEscape75. 48 of the 50 prisoners of war who were killed following the mass break out #OTD in 1944 are commemorated here. Learn more in our multimedia hub: https://t.co/qY8bwA6DQq #LegacyOfLiberation
