@LorraineWillis1 Best wishes for a speedy recovery & greetings from a former Leeds & Harrogate resident now living in snowy Canada. Feel better soon!
@1980sRewind Poplar trees, our schoolyard had in the 1960s, a half dozen very large (especially to us little folk) poplar trees. At recess we played or sat among them, they had a pleasant aroma that evokes those days for me. Sadly due to storms and development they are all gone now.
@linzolson@MaraliGrace@GlobalTV I thought maybe it had poor ratings but if someone at Global made a mistake I wouldn't want to be in their shoes! Major implications for contestants & viewers 🤯
@LaughlinSXM@GordStellick I hear ya, seriously I can recommend the similarly titled Australian series 🇦🇺#MatlockPolice from the early 70s, great show also available on DVD! 😂
@SecretArmyPod@WorldEnoughPod Very good series opener. A fairly large number of characters were effectively introduced. We saw the German characters were going to be portrayed with depth equivalent to that of the Allies. Solid exposition of historical background was provided for those needing it. Top writing!
@stonehurstoil Gotta go with Clint, his films inspired our local school bully who would say "I settle things The Best Way, I settle things The Old West Way" OR "The Midnight Riders have ridden before, The Midnight Riders will ride once more" all in best Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western voice!
