@keithcollantine With the way detection works, does this also mean the same driver gets the green light for DRS no matter what happens? Like if they pass in the first section, they get it again in the second section? If so, that seems broken.

@SpareSteward This was along the lines of my thinking (red flag <=5 laps) although, for the reasons you mention, could cause more problems than it's worth. It's obvious Masi didn't want the title decided by a SC procession to the end (a lifeless finish to a thrilling season)
