@CFitzy7@chestermanutd3 I agree but yeah I could be open to a different type of midfield rebuild abit more mobile technical, possession based but dynamic.
Again not shooting him down or saying I donβt want him - he is a beast
@jamiefpm Agree but he still has a lot to improve on the defensive side, duels one on one tackles and positioning - Mainoo pivot would be abit light weight for me at this moment in time but hey if the entire team change to a more possession based team it could work in the long run
@FabrizioRomano Proper strategy in place - get your number 1 target in at all cost, then shift to high potential young targets to round off your window π
Biggest & Baddest bullies in town π
@UtdDepressed@Cantonadevils No INEOS wanted a world class striker and world class keeper - and then Amorim suggested those names
When Vivel came in he suggested to pivot to Sesko and the GK coach restlessly pushed INEOS to change their approach
Bro exactly !
Amorim pushed for Cunha, Mbeumo & Dorgu and called them all repeatedly to convince the players
Lamenns was not the preferred strategy they wanted a world class GK the GK sour relentlessly pushed for them to shift their strategy- Wilcox admitted this
Even though last years transfer window was good none of them have world class potential maybe Lammens & Sesko but the jury is still out with them letβs see, but itβs not like glaringly in your face that they could become truly world class - thereβs some signs
For me last summer was about rebuilding the floor of the squad. This summer should have been about raising the ceiling.
@asianhawk79@UtdMaI Loved Fernandes profile imh but and I love Scottβs profile I wouldnβt say now where near I think a Scott can dominate games in a different way - but from my point of view I think Fernandes is more complete at this moment in time
@ManUtdUpdates_ If I was a selling club and I saw this, I would be rinsing Man United for every penny they have at negotiating table and if they donβt pay up il drop kick them straight out the door π
Do the math 8 weeks left of the transfer window, 2,5 weeks left of the World Cup - then short breaks for players by that time itβs probably 4-5 weeks out from the window closing -and Iβm not sure if you noticed but yeah we need 3 midfielders & 5-6 players in total just to have a squad that will be able to handle the game load.
Oo yeah and we need to do this in a hyper inflated market with owners who donβt want to pay π but yeah no youβre right nothing to worry about
