@geoffrey_whitby It's imperative that all councillors oppose these opportunistic applications otherwise we shall be inundated with similar applications in the future.
@PaulDFollows@HaslemereH Oh I am pleased that you now agree that Ged did not cut the budget for the WHSA pavilion upgrade. Perhaps you might tweet that in the name of transparency.@HaslemereLibDem @halburysimon
@jam3s3dwards @HaslemereLibDem @HaslemereMayor @CouncillorIndie @VoteNikkiBarton@geoffrey_whitby and furthermore...you guys pulling this stunt is a joke. I remember being at your last budget, pre the 2019 elections where you stated a 'multi-million pound investment in Cranleigh leisure' and put not a single penny in your budget for it #ElectionStunts@HaslemereH
Residents have been contacting me concerned about a petition circulating that suggests that Waverley Borough Council will not be upgrading the Woolmer Hill sports pitches and pavilion in Haslemere.ย This is misleading and factually incorrect. https://t.co/8rPUAV4FJu
As a member of the executive alongside Ged Hall I can confirm that he expanded the WHSA pavilion budget and did not cut it. Perhaps Cllr Weldon could inform us who misinformed him and post an apology but I will not hold my breath.
@HaslemereLibDem Aren't you aware of the transport/planning restrictions for the Farnham Lane site? The school will not employ all the staff if they did move due to costs.
Rather than constantly carping on about the Conservative party you need to recognise the excellent work carried out by the vaccine group set up by HMG that's the envy of EU member states. You also need to get out and about to see the poor state of cleanliness of our roads.
It is great the programme is moving forward but this is 1 stage of the vaccine and not the numbers for BOTH. More misrepresentation and yet more unnecessary flag waving.
Aren't you aware of the planning/transport restrictions of the Farnham Lane site. Also the move is to save money and the schools biggest costs are wages.
