Chris Palmer (39) is missing after his truck was found abandoned at North Carolina’s Outer Banks on January 12th.

The vehicle remained unclaimed for days, so Arkansas authorities declared Chris Palmer a missing person on January 16th. He is believed to be traveling with his German Shepherd and may still be in the area.

His family shared that Chris Palmer and his dog Zoey were camping at various national parks in the region. He is originally from Arkansas. They had been at Washington National Forest in Virginia until January 7th. He was next expected to visit Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia.

Family members were notified on January 18th that Chris Palmer’s truck had been found in the opposite direction he was headed. He has not been seen or heard from since then. #missingperson
