Do you have the guts to call one of the wealthiest and most powerful men on the planet that doesn't know you?
To request a personal meeting at 8am that day at noon just because you happen to be in his town? Well, I did.
Let me be clear. I am not that arrogant and I am certainly self aware.
So this bold move could of been extremely embarrassing. And Warren's team could have easily started telling others that I'm obnoxious, tacky, and be careful about doing business with me.
It's a really small world at that level and if I made that call with only “whats in it for Daymond” in mind. It could have tainted my personal brands in ways that I would not even know.
However, I was always told that with Access comes responsibility.
Thank God I was able to articulate what was in it for Warren and his personal vision to pay it forward all the blessings and the freedoms and blessings that this country has granted us.
Thank you to @socalgas and Maryam Brown for such a great questions to make me think of my recent Warren Buffet story. It was fun to it share with all the amazing people in the room with a goal to give us more access to clean affordable energy.
Very proud to be a part of a company and team that continues to disrupt our industry with leading tech and #innovation that is the foundation for the future of sustainable energy systems which everyone can rely on. #ASPIRE2045

#California has set the ambitious goal of sequestering 100 million metric tons of CO2 by 2045. The development of this hub, which could remove 1 million metric tons of CO2 annually, marks an important step in making that vision a reality.
.@ENERGY selects #CalifoniaDACHub, of which #SoCalGas is a member, to receive up to $11.8M in funding to study a regional carbon management hub in Kern County. This is an important step to help #California decarbonize and reach #netzero goals.
