"Adan" has finally captured the ADC.
Closing Nigeria’s democratic space is no “master strategy.” While Bola Tinubu and his supporters may celebrate his ability to suppress and sow discord within other parties, and it may appear that he is “winning,” Nigeria is losing.
When democratic space is restricted, people are driven underground. One would hope that his so called “master strategy” would instead have a positive impact on the lives of millions of Nigerians facing insecurity, economic hardship, and other pressing challenges.
Not sure if you are writing these tweets yourself, @KemiBadenoch or some white woman
You are the leader of the Conservatives, a black woman, first in history, and you can't find a bad energy policy that the Labour party has enacted in the UK? Or left-leaning economies globally? Did it have to be compared to Nigeria?
What's your message? Nigeria is so bad that the Labour Party should not be like Nigeria? Really? How does this message help you connect to voters in Hendon and Poole?
You are out of touch, Kemi, with the UK conservatives, and they have responded by leaving your leadership to the Reform Party, which understands the conservative electorate better.
I don't write this because you are bashing Nigeria, I write it because you think bashing an African nation will win you seats in the UK, where the demographics are changing. Even Trump won Latino votes in the US, has the conservative party increased their minority votes under you? No
In summary, white voters are dissatisfied with your leadership, and so are minority voters. I hope the conservatives plan a leadership coup (like we do in Nigeria), get rid of you, and install someone who will merge back with the Reform Party and offer real opposition to Labor
If you can't beat labour, who are in your words, governing like Nigerians, then you are politically useless
For those who aren't keeping up, this means that the entire "no blood transfusion" doctrine has been quietly gutted, because under this new doctrine, you can now receive a transfusion of lab-grown red blood cells cloned from your own red cells - since the cloned blood is still technically your own blood.
Since it is medically possible to create patient-specific, lab-generated blood for transfusions using your own blood, that means that the entire blood transfusion question for Jehovah Witnesses has now become a technical and economic one. JWs who live in rich countries where blood cloning facilities exist can get infinite transfusions of "their own" blood without breaking the cult's rules, while the Aunty Esthers of Darkest Africa who have no such facilities get to die young and faithful to the end, because a white man told them to.😊
As always, any African wey no gree obtain sense, na oyibo go kill am.
you’re one of the very few Nigerian politicians who built real wealth outside politics… You’ve run successful businesses both within and outside Nigeria, so i mean you understand the reality of building and sustaining a business far better than most people, including MySELF.
And tHats why this kind of initiative is honestly hard to process esp. coming from you.. From someone else, it might pass.
But from you sIR? it feels rather disappointing cause it comes across almost like “vote-buying” even tho that may not be the intention.
₦100,000 to 5,000 people may sound impactful on the surface, but when you really think about it, what kind of businesses can that realistically build? How many more pure water, Ewedu &pepper sellers, or even small roadside traders can that community absorb? These are already saturated spaces, and most of them don’t even lead to long-term sustainability or lift people out of poverty.
If the real goal is empowerment, then it has to be sustainable. Imagine channeling that same ₦500 million into 10–20 already existing, viable businesses within your constituency. Businesses that are working, that just need capital to scale.. With your experience, you can identify and support them properly.
Those businesses grow. They hire more people. Even if each employs just 5 additional staff, that’s over 100 people earning steady monthly income, not a one-off ₦100,000 And that’s how you move people out of poverty.. And support long-term.. and as those businesses strives, the impact multiplies over years.
Sir, you understand this better than MOST. That’s why this approach feels surprising. Because this isn’t just about sharing money, it’s about creating SYSTEMS that LAST.
with your level of exposure and business expertise, you have the opportunity to build something far more sustainable and TRANSFORMATIONAL than this.
Senegal are likely to argue that they did not abandon the game, the match was completed by the referee’s whistle.
They can say Article 82 was misapplied because the game continued under the same circumstances and reached its natural end.
The referee allowing Senegal back on the pitch and Morocco happily continuing the game will be used to state the match - and result - was valid.
As the final was completed, they can argue the integrity of the game was upheld.
They can also claim changing the winner of a completed final is an extreme overreach by the Appeal Board. And that the punishment for a delay - not a refusal to play as they finished the game - is excessive.
I have nominated Mr. Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance and conveyed his name to the Senate for confirmation.
Taiwo has served our nation diligently as Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, leading the overhaul of our tax system with clarity, courage, and competence. His depth as an economist, accountant, and public policy expert will strengthen our fiscal architecture at a critical time.
Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite will continue to serve the nation as Minister of State at the Ministry of Budget and National Planning. Her experience across portfolios remains valuable to our reform agenda.
We are building a team defined by expertise, discipline, and results. The work continues.
Nigeria First.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
In the last few minutes, sirens were sounded all throughout Israel, with an advance instruction alert directly to cellular devices to stay within proximity to protected spaces.
This is a proactive alert to prepare the public for the possibility of missiles being launched toward the State of Israel. The IDF emphasizes that the public is requested to stay in proximity to protected spaces.

Make we no dey pretend like say this na oversight.
For person wey don work for Villa, wey suppose understand power calculus and turnout mathematics, you know say election date no be accidental.
Dem know wetin dem dey do when dem fix am for Ramadan.
As you sabi, Ramadan no be small thing at least for North. Fasting, prayer, reduced movement. Energy levels drop. People focus on ibadah. Who go come stand for hot sun as dem dey fast?
Consequent Lower turnout no go dey random. E go favour Tinubu wey get structured machinery and SW stronghold wey no depend on mass enthusiasm.
So abeg, make we stop packaging am like “inclusiveness concern.” Strategy na strategy.
When rules of the game dey quietly shape who go show up and who no go show up, that one no be coincidence. That one na political engineering.
But if you like, continue to praise Tinubu and APC.

Senegalese Head Coach should face disciplinary action for his misconduct, despite winning the competition. Even if the referee’s decision was not favourable to your team, it’s part of the game. But ordering your players to leave the pitch while the game time was still on was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Had Sane not salvaged the situation, what would have happened? Forfeit the match and let the host team have the trophy? What would have become of the one goal lead his team had?
Africa should set a clear precedent that bad behaviours are not our way of life.
We lost to tactical superiority.
Morocco didn’t allow us play our game and we didn’t get a Plan B.
They should have finished off the game from first half. Individual brilliance of Bassey (& to a good extent Nwabali & Bruno/Osayi) kept us in the game till the end.
Our MF & attack effectively neutralized.
The tactically superior team won.
It’s amazing how many Americans and Canadians are angry at Canada’s PM visit to China. But what is Canada going to do? Trump has made it clear he has zero interest in working with Canada. Yesterday he said there is nothing Canada produces that the US needs and said Canada has been “very nasty in trade with the US”. If POTUS doesn’t recognize the importance of the US Canada relationship and is willing to throw that away, the only natural response from Canada is to pivot to someone else. China is already the top trading partner with 120 countries around the globe. Canada also is home to many of the most vibrant overseas Chinese communities in the world. The partnership and vision of Canada and a China working closer together only makes logical sense. One trade deal proposal would see Chinese EVs come to Canada and more Canadian seafood going to China. It’s a win-win for both countries. In these crazy times of geopolitical chaos, the world needs to work together and prosper. As we’ve seen in 2025, trade wars and tariffs fail and are not sustainable in long term. Kudos to Carney for seeking more opportunities to help Canada in the future
@ogundamisi Peter Obi is the nightmare of every politician in Nigeria today, they may not want agree to it.
All the plots and political gimmick is to ensure he doesn't make it to the ballot in 2027.
They will be happy to contend with any candidate but Peter Obi.
