@MartinSLewis is is possible to take advantage of the @Trading212 new customer cash isa offer and the £100 free shares offer for new customers as technically you’ll be a customer by opening one before the other…?
@CustomerSu88176 Thanks Beth, initially and after an hr I think we may have got there. We will wait to see what happen in the next billing date and revert then. Thanks
@MartinSLewis Everytime I’ve tried to get mine from Experian they tell me they can’t provide one for me despite always paying off CC in full. And having never had any issues with credit. Is there anyway I can resolve this, they’ve told me they can’t help…?
@MartinSLewis Im a small ltd business owner, I have a high st bank business account which I pay for monthly, all I really need is the ability to receive payments from invoicing and pay invoices, is there a better alternative for super small fry like me than main stream banks? Tide for ltd?
@MartinSLewis my sister has just been told if she goes through the website to find her shortfalls even if she pays what it says is owed, she might not get the full years contribution to her state pension, &that she must speak to an advisor or lodge a call back prior to the 5th???
@MartinSLewis My sister in law has just been told if she goes through the website to find her shortfalls even if she pays what it says it is short she might not get the full years contribution to her state pension, and that she must speak to an advisor or lodge a call back prior to the 5th???
@MartinSLewis@MartinSLewis@MoneySavingExp any advice for someone who gets told Experian can’t credit score them? Despite using CC and clearing them (IN FULL) each month for over a decade?
@MartinSLewis@ITVX I’ve tried to register for Experian to see what my credit score is and they say they can’t register me and provide me with it? Why would this be? No credit history? I’ve always bought what I can afford and paid Credit cards off in full.?
The budget is just 6 weeks away. Today I sent the Chancellor, @Jeremy_Hunt a letter, on his request, to ask that he fixes:
- Unfair Child Benefit rules penalising single income families
- The Lifetime ISA penalty hitting young 1st time buyers
- Above inflation mid-contract broadband & mobile price hikes
- The substantial real terms cuts to student living loans.
Please read the letter for full info. I hope he listens and we see change in the budget. He can't now say he wasn't told. I will also be sending the letter to @RachelReevesMP
Dear Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Lid, Aldi, Waitrose, Morrisons, and all other stores that have self checkout.
You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now.
The lady checking receipts at the exit was stopping
everyone.
I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already
🛒 filled my cart
🛒 emptied my cart
🛒 scanned the items
🛒refilled my cart
and so I just skipped the exit line and left.
I heard her saying "umm - Excuse me " as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store.
You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be.
I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you.
• If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's vour problem not mine.
• Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities.
YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING.
YOU DON'T GIVE ME STAFF DISCOUNT FOR WORKING FOR YOU.
Signed ....All of us
These are jobs that are needed to have for young and old
