@ShitpostRock I am so fearful of Warhammer 40k. Is Henry Cavill enough? And what happens when he is gone? Hopefully his stuff will be so successful that they don't change it
@Pirat_Nation I think thats fine. Its Bioware thats the problem. Best case scenario is Microsoft buys it and hire old school guys like James Ohlen and Chris Avellone to lead it
Everyone focuses on the ending, but the whole thing was just off. I thought the Level designs were real downgrade.
You had to keep going back to the same quest hub, and I remember getting quests for planets I couldn’t even reach yet.
Inserting an IGN gaming journalist (Jessica Chobot) as a character? If I ran the studio, I would fire the person who made that decision.
Crucible, Catalyst, and Kai Leng i’ll introduce late in the game when they should’ve been using existing assets and decisions to build to various conclusions. A lot of “ex Machina” feeling to it all.
Just felt a lot less like an RPG and more just a linear shooter.
And this one is kind of personal and pure speculation on my part but, I remember players kind of liking Cerberus as a dark anti-hero organization that was fighting when the rest of the galaxy wouldn’t. That was the really unexpected part of ME2 and it was pretty neat.
I feel like the writers didn’t like that and they pulled off a Joker Part Deux and turned them into just another indoctrinated enemy, in spite of the fact that Cerberus was the ones who had study reaper tech and indoctrination more than anyone.
@MeLikesCh33se Asha buys Bioware. Only bring back the OG crew and fires all people that came around after ME3. The make a Mass Effect that actually addresses the shit ending of ME3
>Council hates humans
>Batarians and humans now best buds
>Geth a major problem
Yeah, this doesn't seem much like honouring Shephard's legacy.
This doesn't sound like it was made for the fans. It was made for tourists and suits.
@TArchcast I honestly want a full Mass Effect game taking place on The Citadel where you play as a C-sec officer getting swept up in a conspiracy or something.
