A retrograde step in progress for #swfc
The obsessive infatuation with ex-players (& ex-managers) is bizarre. Especially if they’re a “nice bloke” or “give 100%”
The club & its fans have been conditioned to mediocrity for far too long
Understand that Sheffield Wednesday are considering making a move to sign a 16-goal promotion-winning forward who was recently named in the League Two Team of the Season...

@GabSutton Midfield & attack looked very lively. The defence is worrying though & will get schooled by teams with better forwards post-group stage
Further to my tweet earlier this week, this hits the spot if you just want to wake up and watch highlights of the overnight games without these ridiculous giveaway thumbnails https://t.co/ombSjYEqSL
@LFC@SportsPeteO All those criticising this appointment have no idea how good Iraola is
Probably one of the most exciting managers in the world currently
You’re lucky to have him
@kr62209 Good piece, Kris. We will know by October whether it is the right decision or not
Can understand why fans are doubtful: there has been far too much sentimentality over mediocre managers & players in the last 10-20yrs which has held the club back amongst other things.
