My name’s Snake. I aint got no hobbies, unless you call collecting knives and putting tattoos across the foreheads of guys I dont like hobbies. I have a 1.1 GPA
@davidhammy_@EmmaVigeland He wins stat sheets and awards and regular season games and gets worse and worse and even a detriment the more the games matter/the further into the playoffs (and this is backed up by stats).
Dude has always lacked intensity, clutch gene and intangibles to be the central piece
@Zigmanfreud The attendance for the game in the box score which was easy to find was 1,362. Not sure why you think that's not available, and even less sure what the obvious (which isn't, since the numbers are available) reason is.
@ScoringGuyGuy@BrettSBaker "if it exists"
It doesn't for the B1G. Omaha *IS* that place for the Big Ten. The conference doesn't care about baseball, and even the good west coast teams can't get people to come to games.
The money and attendance were worse before Omaha and will be worse after if they leave
@davidhammy_@EmmaVigeland Because his prime overlapped with peak golden state
…
AND because his game is not conducive for team success and championships as evidenced by how he’s never accomplished anything other than individual accolades
@ScoringGuyGuy@BrettSBaker “Why did the conference baseball tournament championship game between Oregon and UCLA have bad optics dad?”
“Oh it’s all the Big Ten and Nebraska fans fault!”
😂
@ScoringGuyGuy@BrettSBaker B1G doesn’t give a shit if one game has bad attendance if the whole thing does very well. Omaha does *very well* w the whole thing, it’s Oregon/UCLA fans’ responsibility to put butts in the seats for their championship programs, they don’t/didn’t, and you’re blaming everyone else
@ScoringGuyGuy@BrettSBaker Alright then I'll go back to my previous point, since there were plenty of games in the tourney with great attendance, you need to look at the two schools in the championship game and their mid-to-bad fan support.
Box score has attendance for that game as 1,362 btw
@ScoringGuyGuy@BrettSBaker How is it for a take? First of all, it's wrong.
Second, uninspired. TBH, your argument is all over the place and I'm really not even sure what it is, but the conference loves omaha because of CWS prestige and comparatively great attendance vs anywhere else it's been
@ScoringGuyGuy@BrettSBaker “This tournament would have way more people if it was somewhere other than the place with the local fanbase that constantly sets attendance records” is certainly a take.
@DrewHolden360 Sure Drew. An anti-racism non-profit w pedigree and history, secretly creating and funding racism is FAR more likely than the alternative, a belligerent narcissist president with a racist past playing into white grievance that we can all see with our own eyes
