A Parking Lot Conversation: Planting Seeds of Purpose
I recently visited my old school to engage with a section of the staff. As I parked my car near two students, I noticed them watching curiously. When I stepped out, they moved closer. One of them, Herbert, spoke first:
Time was up, and I had to rush to my meeting. We parted ways with a handshake and a smile.
I don’t know whether, ten years from now, I’ll run into a mogul named Herbert or Imran. But I do know that a seed was planted. And sometimes, that’s all it takes.
@UgandaEC are there any codes of conduct for people vying for elected offices? If so, can these be included in voter education and can we see candidates disqualified for engaging in blatant bribing of voters?
