@20MinuteTims Nancy was the wrong guy at the wrong time. Rightly or wrongly he wasn’t going to get the players onside. (That’s another conversation) But this is worse because this manager and coaching team have been in place for a while and performances and results are declining.
@Quinny3001 Barrowfield is excellent, but Lennoxtown is where we’re really falling behind. It’s good, but not “elite” any more. We don’t have an indoor pitch there. Even Rangers have an indoor pitch. Have a look at Brugges facility. Opened in 2019 for €18m. Levels above what we have.
@JimSpenceDundee Doctors appointments booked by phone only. If you turn up to speak to a human face to face, the reception staff will turn you away and tell you to phone the appointment line. No exceptions.
@JimSpenceDundee My old man is 84 and still gets about. Unfortunately now some shops (big chains) during certain times of the day will have no checkouts open and only self service screens available. There are still at least a couple of generations living where this is not appropriate at all.
@PaulJohnDykes@ACSOMPOD@LK95_ Maloney doing the tactical side (badly) and Martin doing the man management. The problem with martins man management is that it galvanised a beleaguered team towards the end of last season. But it’s reached the end of it’s shelf life now. Could have and should have had Askou.
@yogijunior3 John, I’d say this is a critical point already. No cohesion whatsoever in our team for a few weeks now. Shades of Covid season. Players look to have no idea what they are doing. Or being asked to do. Honest discussions needed between players and coaching staff tomorrow.
@kmckenna63 Players and management both take blame here Kev. Seems to be rudderless and no clear direction on the pitch. Long balls becoming increasingly common in recent weeks. That’s got to come from the coaching.
@20MinuteTims This was the danger if he didn’t walk away at the end of last season. He motivated an existing team last season. Entrusted to create his own this season. Big difference so far.
@20MinuteTims@asimrabbani Will the players revolt like they did with Nancy? Don’t think so. This is entirely on management. We’ve been toiling against bottom half teams. No discernible game plan today.
@Ryanclifford11@celtic_un_view This is on both players and management. But I will put 70% on the management. Sorry, but there is no indication of any coherent game plan. This could unravel quickly.
@20MinuteTims Players struggle when they have no other instructions than “play good lads”. Shades of Covid season here. Bought attacking players with specific profiles and don’t play in any sort of style that suits them. This is mostly on the management today folks.
@jhnmcgnly Not sure I agree with making a loanee our number one goalie right away. Feel that Sinisalo is a bit hard done by to be honest. Also, unlikely Johnstone is here next season. We’ll just need to hope this works out.
@20MinuteTims That’s exactly what McFadden said he thought was supposed to happen. If VAR cannot prove one way or the other, then the onfield decision should stand.
@20MinuteTims 30 cameras at every EPL ground. 6 cameras per Scottish premier league game. Same company - Hawk Eye. SPFL clubs won’t pay for a better tier package, so we are stuck with this sham. If that’s the case I’d bin it altogether.
@PodTims@RyanStevenF2 McFadden raised the point post match - his understanding is that if no lines can be drawn, then the on field decision should stand.
@HarryBradyCU The thing is Hawk Eye Innovations is the VAR provider for both Scottish and English football. Up here, however, we have 6 cameras per game. EPL has 30 at every ground I believe. Therefore far more angles covered.
@asimrabbani One issue we have (and not just tonight) is losing possession in the attacking 3rd and suddenly being stretched and outpaced on the break. Every team in the league has at least one player able to breeze past our defence. It’s a worry.
@funtimemarty If you have the free app version of VAR leading to an offside call where they are unable to draw lines, why even bother with the system. Tinpot does not do it justice.
@swolterhookedx The Templar Arrest was primarily prosecuted by the King of France, and initially was resisted by Pope Clement V, who doubted the charges and accusations.
They didn’t come into existence till a couple of decades after the First Crusade.
