I had a feeling I was dealing with a 'Pig Butchering" or "affinity scam" in my DMs. How This Specific Scam WorksThe Slow Roll: They pretend to be a normal person, a friend, or an attractive stranger. They drop casual hints about making money through "Alltrade" to make you curious.
The Trap: Once you show interest, they will guide you to a fake website or app. They might even offer to "help you make your first trade."
The Illusion: The platform will show fake profits to convince you to deposit larger sums of money.
The Theft: The moment you try to take your money out, they ghost you or demand fake fees, and your money is gone forever.
The scam site is called Alltrade as mentioned.
The platform is completely illegitimate and operates as a financial scam. It has zero authorization from real financial watchdogs and is designed to steal your capital.
Regulatory Blacklists: Financial regulatory agencies, including the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (FMA), have explicitly flagged entities under this exact name for offering financial services illegally without a license.
No Legal Registration: It is not registered with the SEC, FINRA, or any reputable global regulator.
Fake Data Dashboard: The charts, investment returns, and growing balances you see on their app or website are entirely fabricated. No actual trading takes place; they manually manipulate the numbers to make you believe you are making money so you will deposit more.
The Withdrawal Trap: You cannot get your money back. If you try to withdraw, they will lock your account and demand that you pay a fake "withdrawal fee," "tax," or "activation charge" first. If you pay it, they will just invent another fee and keep your money anyway.
We never got to as far as "the trap" because after I checked into the site I was met with argument of how much this DMer made through "Alltrade"
