@itvfootball@gabrielclarke05 Heโs talking bollocks gobbledygook, he totally ballsed it. Argentina needed to attack, we needed an outlet from the pressure, Saka and Watkins, not bloody Konsa and Burns. Massive opportunity lost. Sack him.
Back in June 1986 Timmy Mallet had his last show on Piccadilly Radio in Manchester, the presenter who followed him, James H Reeve wasn't that fond of him, his fans, or the singer from Black Lace it appears....
When radio was a tad different to what it is now.
@shaymantim Thatโs incredible. One of those rare occasions when a player is on another plane.
I have hazy memories of him taking part in an all-rounder competition. I was young, but I remember thinking he had that steely aura of a cricketing Cliff Thorburn. Mustโve been the moustache.
@StanCollymore Iโve been sceptical about the money paid for the big players, but every team is so well drilled and and coached now, it takes a superstar to break them down. Those 120 million pound players are the difference.
@WG_RumblePants It was so embarrassing it hurt. What a self indulgent ham. His legacy- to have fooked up test cricket in this country beyond all recognition.
Christ almighty, I can imagine the Aussie pisstakes now ๐ณ
@PaulHeatonSolo Your voice is frigging brilliant, thanks for making life sound sweeter. I was 13 when you were doing your bit for the miners, Iโm 53 now, and 27 years in making a living as a docker, what happened back then and the parts people played resonates loud ๐ช
Retweet for a chance to win!

@Lexxirocker They bridged the gap between the global pop megastars (Prince, Madonna, Jackson), and earnest indie superstars (Smiths, Cure, New Order) and did it perfectly well. My favourite brilliant band in the middle.
