Love, to me, is more than saying “I love you.” It’s choosing someone, It’s trust, honesty, loyalty, understanding, laughter, passion, and feeling completely at home in someone’s arms. It’s wanting to see them happy, supporting their dreams, and knowing that when life gets hard, you face it together.
Being in love is that feeling of looking at someone and knowing you don’t just want them in your life ,you want to build your life with them. It’s finding your person and still choosing them, over and over again.
love that is real, deep, lasting and worth fighting for.

Life lessons
Follow your gut.
That feeling inside you isn’t there for no reason. It’s there to protect you, guide you and warn you, whether what lies ahead is good or bad.
Have you ever had a feeling that you should do something, make a move or take a chance, and when you finally listened, it turned out better than you could have imagined?
Or perhaps you’ve had that completely different feeling, something telling you “this isn’t right”, “don’t do it”, or “walk away”, and later realised that instinct may have saved you from something you never saw coming.
Your gut often sees what your eyes haven’t caught up with yet.
The longer you ignore that feeling, the more opportunities you can lose. And sometimes, worse than losing an opportunity, you can ignore a warning for so long that eventually what you sensed was wrong hits you harder than it ever needed to.
Not every feeling will be right. But when something inside you keeps speaking, pay attention.
Trust yourself. Listen to your instincts. Follow your gut.
Sometimes that quiet voice inside you is the only thing standing between you and the lesson you were trying to avoid.
@AntoinettelSG1 I’m honestly no different to anyone else. I’m just a normal Brummie who happens to do what I do, and I genuinely enjoy talking to people and getting to know them. I just see people as people. So there is nothing to forget 😊
Someone telling you your self tape was fantastic is one thing, but sometimes it’s the interaction that stays with you long after the conversation ends.
I’ve just had one of the best human interactions I’ve ever experienced. I laughed like I’ve never laughed before. Proper, uncontrollable laughter. The kind where you forget everything else for a moment.
But more than that, someone didn’t just see what I brought to the audition. They saw something in me beyond the mask of an actor. They saw the person underneath it. They saw something that perhaps I don’t always allow people to see.
Never have someone’s words brought such emotion out of me. It’s difficult to put into words what that feels like when someone connects with you on that level.
And right now, I feel blessed. Blessed to be alive. Blessed to be able to experience moments like this. Blessed to be an actor and to be doing the thing I was meant to do.
There are moments in life that remind you exactly where you’re supposed to be.
This is one of those moments.
To know that another person has seen you, really seen you, with all your imperfections, your mistakes, your complicated sides, and still chooses to love you. There’s a trust in that which can’t be taken for granted. You’re giving them a part of yourself that they could hurt, but you choose to give it anyway. You choose to believe in them, to trust them, to let them matter to you.
And maybe that’s the real gift, having the courage to give love freely , But being the receiver of that love… that is a blessing.
To have someone who chooses you, who cares about your happiness, who makes you feel safe enough to be completely yourself, is something I think we should never become too comfortable with. It’s easy to get caught up in everyday life and forget just how extraordinary it is to have someone beside you who genuinely loves you, finding someone you can trust with your heart, and knowing they trust you with theirs.
And when you find that…You have something worth protecting. Something that reminds you that, in a world where so much can be temporary, sometimes you can still find something real.
There comes a point in life when you realise that standing on your own isn’t the same as standing alone.
It means learning to trust your own feet when the ground beneath you has shifted. It means accepting that some people are chapters, some are lessons, and some simply aren’t meant to walk the whole road with you.
I’ve learned that strength isn’t about never falling. It’s about finding the courage to rise without needing someone else to tell you that you can.
So I’m choosing to keep moving forward, gratitude for what was, faith in what’s ahead, and the quiet knowledge that I am enough to build something beautiful from here.
I stand on my own because I’ve finally learned that I can.

I think that’s where I see it differently. If someone enters your life as a catalyst, helps you discover something in yourself and gets you to the place you needed to reach, then I believe there comes a point where that connection has served its purpose. That doesn’t diminish what it was or what it meant. Sometimes the hardest part of growth is accepting that the person who helped you get there isn’t necessarily meant to continue the journey with you.
Sometimes You Are The Catalyst
I’ve come to understand that not everyone who enters your life is meant to stay there.
Sometimes you meet someone and there is an immediate connection. You share experiences, conversations, ideas and parts of yourself that help them see something they couldn’t see before.
I’m very aware of how people feel when they get close to me. I can sense the uncertainty, the questions and sometimes the hesitation. That’s not my energy, but I can recognise it in others.
And sometimes I simply think, okay.
I don’t need to force anything.
I can show someone their worth. I can help them find confidence. I can help them move forward and see possibilities in themselves they couldn’t see before.
And maybe that’s exactly why our paths crossed.
In spiritual terms, some people call this being a catalyst. Someone enters your life, creates change, helps you grow, and moves you towards a version of yourself you were always capable of becoming.
And when that work is done, sometimes the relationship naturally changes.
That doesn’t make what happened meaningless.
It means the connection had a purpose.
Sometimes you aren’t meant to hold onto someone.
Sometimes you’re meant to help them find themselves, wish them well, and keep walking your own path.
When you arise in the morning
Think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive
To breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.
