@HMRCcustomers My client made personal pension contributions into a private pension. The provider didn't claim basic rate relief as they thought (incorrectly) the contributions were coming from thier employer before tax. How can my client claim basic rate relief retrospectivley?

@HMRCcustomers Can I update my PAYE code via the gov gateway to report a change to tax relievable pension contributions made. I'm higher rate taxpayer and don't want to wait for a rebate next year, I'd prefer it to be reflected in my tax code now?
@HMRCcustomers My client will be 55 years old in Jan 2028 and is planning to access his DC pension at that time. On 6th April 2028 the minimum pension age changes to 57. Will he be prevented from accessing his pension between Apr 2028 and Jan 2030?
@HMRCcustomers Hi, my client has been making pension AVCs since Jul 2019 which should have been getting relief at source, but haven't. It's an Occupational Scheme written under Trust. How can he claim tax relief retrospectively and ensure relief is given at source going forward?
@bhx_official Being told we can't check our bags in until 2hrs before we fly. Seriously, is this a thing now? We want to eat before we board and probably won't have time now. Can you help? Apparently it's the baggage handles that have decided this.
@bhx_official It appears that we aren't allowed to check our bags in until 2hrs before our flight. Is this actually a thing!! We wanted to have something to eat and drink before flying. Not sure we'll have time.
@HMRCcustomers Thank you. A Director/Shareholder re-mortgages a privately held investment property with the purpose of using the additional borrowing to lend funds to his close company. Do they get tax relief at their marginal rate?
@HMRCcustomers if a Director/Shareholder borrows money to provide a loan to their company, and claims relief on the interest, can they also charge the company interest and set it against their PSA?
@HMRCcustomers Hi, how are you getting on with my query? Do you think that you'll be able to get back to me today, or could it be another day or so? Thanks.
@HMRCcustomers after leaving my employer of the past 20yrs, I received redundancy pay (some tax-free). I then set up a training company and my former employer uses my services to train people who are in similar roles to the one I had. Is my redundancy pay now liable to tax?
@HMRCcustomers if a taxpayer has taxable earnings of £50k before SEISS grant, would a SEISS grant of £7.5k create a child benefit tax charge and reduce the PSA to £500?
