My mind goes crazy at the number of problems a single sensor can solve. For me, this was for reassurance using @home_assistant but when you think how this could be applied elsewhere concierge services to those with memory issues etc.. #smarthome#inclusivity#accessibility#IoT
@deveritt_uk@alphasixtyfive@home_assistant Now I’m back out on my MTB doing ~50-100 miles a week, I find myself not using my walking pad as much much, but my desk is mostly if not always standing position these days!
@TheHookUp1 I have high hopes for the Nextbase and if the Garmin is anything like the build quality of their bike lights and radar that I own, then it should be up there at the top! 🤞🏼
Have to second Tado here. They have wide range of support, UFH, AC, in room thermostat along with TRVs. I don’t mind they are cloud, I don’t pay for their premium features as I recreated them already via HA but I also have HomeKit as a fallback. Mind you I also have Unift LTE as my own fallback and can’t honestly recall a time I’ve found Tado services offline.
I finally found the answer to @home_assistant in-wall room controllers. Inspired by the outstanding content from @blakadder and @camerongray1515 I ventured down the Android panel path. Accessing dedicated Lovelace dashboards just makes sense! 🧵 /1
@adrian I opted for d-shape cable clips. This means that I can angle the strip upwards. This creates a better glow around the desk and shifts the light above the desk rather than below it. I also spaced the clips so that the LEDs were not covered.
@jorisroovers@mr_ajfriesen@j_kettmann Yeo, love mine. 5-8 miles a day, four days a week. I walk whilst I get my admin done in the morning after which I either continue to stand or sit down full of energy and focus.
