After almost 6 years of primarily telling the UBA story through my lens, I’m incredibly honored to step into a new role as the personal photographer to Mr. Tony O. Elumelu, CON.
This is more than a job. It’s a mission to visually document the story of one…
TOE in Benin Republic 🇧🇯 today, engaging with UBA Group staff and listening to honest, unadulterated feedback from customers on how UBA can serve them better.

TOE & Dr Elumelu’s love and partnership
I watched a beautiful, candid and very relatable moment between TOE and his wife, Dr Elumelu.
The church had asked the congregation to give their offerings. I kept watching their interactions closely and documenting them.
understanding between two people who have walked life long enough together to move as one.
And in that moment, there were no titles. Not Dr, not Chairman, not public figure. It was just a man and his woman who knows him beyond all of that.
TOE: “Guys, I have only 17mins to take these birthday pictures. I have a meeting shortly”.
Me: “Say less Sir” 😌
We were done in about 15 mins.
So we had 15 mins to create a one of a kind portrait for a one of a kind leader.
Happy Birthday @tonyoelumelu 🎈
Today, I turn a year older. And every year on this day, I reflect on something far bigger than me.
For a long time, I believed luck was something that just happens to you. Then I realised, luck can be engineered. Opportunity can be democratised.
Hope is not just a feeling; it is a system we can build.
2025 taught me to chase moments. I’m grateful for the frames, the candid stories, the risks, lessons learned and the roads ahead. 2025 was probably the most packed year for me.
2026, let’s see where the light leads. Here’s to more stories 📸 and adventure. 🥂

These photographs from yesterday document the behind the scenes shortly after TOE announced the acquisition of a 20% stake in Seplat by Heirs Energies.
In frame 1, he responds to an outpouring of calls from well-wishers, messages arriving faster than they could be answered.
he spoke not of achievement, but of responsibility. He reflected on the sleepless nights, the unseen effort, and the collective sacrifice of his team, careful to place the credit where it belonged. He did not speak about himself.
