Just got a new Tesla model Y. Much better than expected. Two things I would like if possible. On FSD if it can avoid pot holes and cracked roads. It goes perfectly straight but sometimes that is the issue. Also, could Tesla give the option to purchase a yearly subscription to FSD at a discount like they do with the premium service?

X could be used to gather information across the globe to help improve Tesla’s products such as Optimus, self driving, battery storage, car design, etc.

Create a suggestion section for each product on how to improve them so Tesla would receive replies from people all over the world. For free…. You never know what would come of it.

Optimus Training:
Why doesn’t Tesla put sensors and cameras on humans that are doing all different types of jobs so it can gain data faster for learning?
Jobs Such as:
House Cleaning
Yard work
Typing
Construction
Etc.

The sensors could also detect pressure needed at each point.

I went to purchase a car many years ago and I asked the salesperson if he could teach me how to use all of the options the car had. He said he didn’t know. You would think the salesperson would be able to teach you how to use the product they are selling?
I think people are drawn to the IPhone because it is easy to use and as the updates are provided you learn the changes so if you were to purchase a new phone you are already up to date with the newest technology. Tesla is doing the same but change is hard so teaching customers all of the options a Tesla provides should help those people who are scared of change and the people who are not technology proficient. Especially the older generation.

New technology can be overwhelming for people but as they get comfortable with a particular companies technology they tend to stay with that company. Now that Tesla has more locations why don’t they consider having classes to teach their customers how to use all the options that come with the car? Then a customer would be able to truly utilize all the options available (which will make a better experience) and will probably not want to go with another company since they are comfortable using Tesla’s technology.

@elonmusk Have you considered making FSD a monthly only subscription? It would eliminate the issue of people “owning” FSD and wanting it transferred.

If I were to purchase a car with 300 miles of range I know I might end up with a 15% reduced range over time and I am only supposed to charge my car to 80% so I preserve my battery?? That along with the inconsistent range makes me need a car with a range over 400 miles.

It’s not necessarily the range issue it is the future reduced range and the range fluctuations from different driving experiences such as really cold or driving in the mountains that gives me range anxiety.
