@HMRCcustomers I need to check if I’ve already sent you a Form 17 for my house or not. I can see online that I sent you a form by post in August, but it doesn’t say which form it was.
How can I check whether the change if beneficial interest has been recorded?
@TUIUK Neither your app or website (on phone or laptop) will show my upcoming or previous bookings this morning. I see you’ve replied to 3 other people this morning that you’re not aware of any problems.
I think this probably counts as making you aware of a problem.
@richardosman Thanks for the heads up. I had to let it stew for a while after guess 4 (which confirmed the last 3 letters). Then it suddenly came to me!

@Aaronontheweb If you let k8s do it for you when you hit a memory limit then it’s arguably just another generation of GC.
Not argued by ME, you understand.
Not on a good day, anyway.
@JasonKPargin@taskmaster It’s such a genius format.
I didn’t fully understand until I heard Alex describe it as a way of giving comedians a way to be funny on TV *in their own way*. Notably without having to fit into either the panel show format or a sitcom. Brilliant!
@JazRignall I never played Robotron, but I remember really enjoying Jeff Minter’s Llamatron, which I understand to be similar (but with more llamas, camels, etc).
@ardalis Seconded
Apart from anything else I really liked the sense of humour in it. Nothing over the top, just real life levels of jokiness rather than being serious all the time.
@mccartydan@EthanEvansVP If the outcome of the “weaponised” scenario ends with an agreement that includes an NDA then you might not find a lot of people wanting to talk about that in public.
@GergelyOrosz Are there any Usenet clients that offer a similar experience? Could they? Does anyone offer anything similar based on XMPP or something?
I long for a return to the days where discussion didn’t happen in the walled gardens of Slack and Discord.
@looksunfamiliar I had a Dragon 32. The analogue joysticks were great, but oh my lord the light pen we got for it was so terrible.
IIUC the D32 didn’t have any raster interrupts or what-have-you so you had to press a button and wait for patterns of lines to traverse the screen. So. very. slow.
@khyperia I once wrote some software that was using essentially a CPU cycle counter for tracking some things that were happening at both short and long timescales (ns vs hours/days). I got worried about overflow so I did the maths. I laughed when I realised how little I should worry!
