MOFFAT are stationed right next door to the @MoffatMRT & along with @PSOSDandG & @Scotambservice SORT, we joined their exercise at Grey Mare's Tail to rescue "casualties".

This was a great opportunity to build good working relationships & put the theory into practise. 🚒

Callout: At 14:46 on Sunday 16th July Moffat MRT were contacted by @PSOSDandG to assist in the search and rescue of Jack Russell Louis after he took a fall down the full length of the Grey Mare’s Tail near Moffat. Louis was successfully located and reunited with his owner.

Callout: At 13:16 Moffat MRT were asked by @TweedValleyMRT to assist in the rescue of an injured walker on Culter Fell near Biggar. R199 and Strathclyde Police MRT also attended to safely evacuate the casualty to a waiting @Scotambservice ambulance.

Callout: At 16:55 on Sat. 21st Jan. 2023 Moffat MRT were called to assist an injured walker on Tinto Hill. With the aid of @Scotambservice MMRT managed & carried the casualty to the waiting R199 helicopter who then flew the casualty to a waiting ambulance for ongoing management.

🌟 Callout 🌟 At 11:43 Moffat MRT were contacted by Police Scotland to assist with the recovery of an injured paraglider from Tinto Hill. Together with Strathclyde Police MRT the casualty was safely recovered from the hill on a stretcher to a waiting ambulance.

🌟Callout 🌟 Moffat MRT had 2 callouts today! At 14:21 at Ae Forest to assist a mountain biker and one at 16:00 to assist in the search for a missing walker between Muirkirk and Sanquhar. The team was stood down at 18:54.
