@courtlalonde Toronto fans had to hear about Marner after EVERY win. Even from players and other city's media. He had a good playoffs but disappeared against a good checking team as the series went on which is something Toronto fans saw for many years. So this is the fans getting their payback

@Berger_BYTES He disappeared at the end of the series and was -3 in an elimination game they lost 3-0. In Toronto, he always did well early in the series but the longer it went the worse he got. Carolina played a similar style to Florida and he couldn't handle it. 4 shots in the final 3 games

@CanadasLeafs I think it is the network trying to capitalize on the Leafs having the first pick and trying to land the biggest viewing audience. If everyone just said the obvious (they are taking McKenna) not as many would tune in on Draft Night.

@frank_seravalli Question... how can you, as a player, go to your organization and request a trade but also submit a list and say that you would only accept a trade to these three teams? I have seen this a lot in the NBA but not much in other sports and it never made sense to me.

@_NickRichard Sim is the type of player I HATED as an Oshawa Generals fan the last couple of years as he and London Knights were ridiculously good and he was frustrating to watch. Now that he is on a team I cheer for he is one of my favourites! Lol! I would love to see Simmer on the Leafs

@spittinchiclets I watched Mitch block some big shots when he was with the Leafs. A playoff game vs Boston in the dying seconds comes to mind where he had back to back blocks to ensure a win. Here he didn't see the puck until the last second and he tried to get out of the way.

@GearshiftMike @LJagger57091 I have been at the last two Marlies games and realistically the only ones who should start with the big club (not necessarily stay all year) are Cowan, Groulx, Danford, and Sim. I would also move one or both Leafs goalies and let Artie take over. Kid is ridiculously good

@Catoradeallday Toronto had no issues with Marner's skill, it was his attitude that sucked. Started with his first contract negotiation and then after so many playoff disappointments the fan base soured on him. He is a great player when there isn't any adversity.
