@JVMonte2 A Different Kind of Truth. Still trying to figure out how Tattoo was even a consideration, much less the lead single. That song is hot garbage doused heavily in wrong sauce.
@UnfortunateMLB I am a Jays fan, lived in Toronto for 20 years and still live within a two hour drive of the city, at least on a good day. If you’d asked me in any of Feb thru May, I would have agreed with these ranking.
@Joe2CT@UltClassicRock Totally understand the sentiment. Even agree with it for the most part. But think the Mellencamp shot is off the mark. I don’t think there would be a large group of people who would argue that he was/is less rock and roll than the . . . B-52s?
@ThatEricAlper First small concert? Kim Mitchell at my high school in February 1985. First big boy show? John Mellencamp at Maple Leaf Gardens in November 1985.
@GenTXer2 June 2005. Ten days before my wedding. Not overly stressed but we needed a night off from wedding related stuff. My fiancé and I walked from our condo to the Toronto Harbourfront to see Jimmy. It was a good palate cleanse and super entertaining to watch her intro to Parrotheads.
@GenTXer2 Changes is great but Biloxi always spoke to me. Son of a Sailor as well.
Fair winds and following seas, Jim. Aim for one particular harbour. ⛵️🏝️
@ThatEricAlper The first Wide Mouth Mason album, Day for Night by the Tragically Hip, Scarecrow by John Mellencamp, 5150 by Van Halen, also 1984 by Van Halen.
@maddiecholette The fact that the fan was bracing himself on the top of the wall with his right hand and fully extending his left arm and glove over the field shows that MLB has no idea what it is doing.
