I’m honestly so overwhelmed and don’t even know where to start.

Last Wednesday I moved into a new apartment. Friday, it burned down. My three kids and I lost almost everything we owned.

At the same time, I’m also trying to navigate a divorce, and the last few days have felt completely surreal. I’ve been so overwhelmed that I barely know where to begin rebuilding.

Then the crypto community found my story, and dubbed me “Disaster Man”.

I knew absolutely nothing about crypto, but people patiently walked me through setting up a wallet, explained everything, and started helping in ways I never expected.

I’m out right now trying to replace clothes and essentials for my kids, and I’m honestly speechless. The kindness I’ve experienced from complete strangers is something I’ll never forget.
