@Chelsea62489229#HKR1000 definitely a good way to do it when you have a pile of work. I always try to schedule little breaks in my studying sometimes just to get a coffee or snack and sometimes to got walk around... helps taking short mental breaks for sure
HKR1000 The number one thing I do to manage stress is going to the gym / exercising. I know that after a stressful test or long study/homework session getting the blood flowing really helps relieve stress and let me forget about everything else for a couple of hours
@Subasith I completely agree with this, as a nursing student I've been able to see first had the impact mental health has on physical health. One of the big things that I have seen is people with poorly managed mental health end up using poor coping methods
Healthy eating is often forgotten in the older population. Eating healthy can reduce the risk for many diseases faced by older adults but with reduced appetite and other barriers can make this hard, but its very important to learn ways to overcome https://t.co/NYoDekOXHU #HKR1000
@amberakane i dont get why things like algebra and complex math is taught in school when most people dont use it but things like how to eat healthy / on a budget is skipped when eating is something everyone has to do for the rest of their life #hkr1000
#HKR1000 not surprised to see 65.31% of the class showed up on the eating responsibly part. Many students are too busy to cook or living in res where they don't get many choices, but many are not also informed enough to make smart choices. Why isnt this taught in high school
