@GreenWaveMan No doubt the football team would benefit but saving a 15-20 min drive isn’t worth destroying an important part of student life imo. I believe athletics is a financial separate from the university aside from receiving scholarships so I doubt a new facility would reduce tuition

@GreenWaveMan Friends who were at the meeting between athletics and some of the students against the bubble. I think this was a month or so ago. Definitely have exact details wrong but student access will definitely be significantly limited

@GreenWaveMan From what I’ve been told by people on campus that would likely one be around one hour a day (in part since other teams would use) and by prior reservation and approval by athletics. Could be wrong but that’s what students have been told

@GreenWaveMan Completely destroys student facilities. It is the only field set up and available for students to use for intramurals and pick up games. The bubble would completely remove that
