📢 Are you passionate about science?🔬 We are looking for a #PhD candidate at Forschungszentrum Jülich to develop cutting-edge NMR hyperpolarization methods! The Helmholtz Association is an ideal place to learn and do world-leading research👩🔬👨🔬 #NMRchat#research@helmholtz_en
Thrilled to announce: this July I will start an independent Helmholtz research group at @fz_juelich to work on new methods and applications of #hyperpolarization for NMR and MRI🥳
Thank you everyone who has supported me🙏
PhD + Postdoc positions available, stay tuned!

The Journal of Open Hardware is back!!!!
(and it's diamond open access)
We're now accepting submissions, and we're always looking for referees.

If you solidify a target molecule with a PHIP-polarized source molecule, the polarization diffuses from source to target. Surprisingly, this even works when the source+target are ground together as dry powders. Thrilled PHIP-SSD is now published!🥳 #NMRchat

@codigoDciclismo@JohanBruyneel@BenjiNaesen@faustocoppi60 All good points, valid for many stages (esp. with road furniture, gravel, tight corners), but I don't think it was a good strategy on a slow safe stage, to protect a leader guaranteed to lose the pink jersey regardless. Better to get riders in a break and force UAE to chase
@JohanBruyneel@BenjiNaesen@faustocoppi60 But nobody's explaining why their analysis of Ineos tactics Giro stage 2 was wrong. You're complaining about @BenjiNaesen expressing an opinion when he's not ex-pro, but you're not challenging the opinion itself. His analysis seems to be spot on 👌
Easter weekend with a couple of friends doing the amateur Ronde van Vlaanderen - 160km filled with mud, cobbles and climbs. Started the day with a new pair of white socks..😃
@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret There is a great picture of Scholz, von der Leyen, Michel, Macron, and Meloni sitting around Viktor Orban, in a meeting in which he was persuaded to drop Hungary's veto of a €50b aid package to Ukraine. What do you think was said to persuade Orban to change his position?
@TovarishBarskiy @ma_sabba A good reference for this is "Polarization transfer experiments in high-resolution NMR spectroscopy".

By observing adiabatic transitions 'live', state transformations can be seen in real-time. It's like taking a video of the experiment instead of photos😃 We track the magnetization of hyperpolarized molecules subjected to simple pulse sequences. #NMRchat https://t.co/zXjXSsfEKw
@HadeerElhabashy Red flags are: email is written in an odd font, they start "Dear Professor", absurd salutations like "Thank you esteemed scientific colleague", and vague topics absolutely unrelated to my expertise like "Fertilizer Chemistry". I love them, each one is a joy to read
New paper online📢 We show that at high molar polarization, a sample's internal magnetic field (~μT) disrupts polarization transfer sequences. This limits polarization (image) but can be fixed by dipolar decoupling. Congrats to Laurynas and all! #NMRchat
