Germanys manufacturing history post 1965 was dramatically better than our awful low productivity strike ridden reality.

@furyfarm5335 @HoodedClaw1974 forces were closing in with massive global shifts that made us uncompetitive and outdated in Steel and Shipbuilding ( Korea) she just refused to keep subsidising failure. It was seen as heartless by some but it was coming down the road decades before Thatcher… sad but true.

Radio call in shows and Fan mail frenzy and Magazine readers letters ! … that’s my point. yes the term “social media”’was coined in the late 90s but we didn’t need computers to have media that was social … Boris experienced it all
