The man worked for 10 more years. Incredible. We are so lucky to have witnessed it and to have a lifetime worth of art he’s left behind for posterity.

We were doing a one day gig, a staged reading. He was unequivocally great for the very first cold read. The man did not need rehearsing. He “understood” his role, the play, the tone… immediately.

And good thing too, because between that first read through and the evening performance, he had to leave for the afternoon to do some VO work. He worked non stop. He was 83.
