I'm finding a lot of disheartening posts from introverts lately.

But introverts are:
- thoughtful
- considerate
- creative
- responsible for the greatest advancements in human civilisation

After four months (90% of which was procrastination) I've finally finished the draft of my script for this year's pantomime.

My brain always forgets that writing's fun and classifies it as 'work'. But once I get started, there's nothing like it in all the world.

I was “shy”. I was “awkward”. I was “unsociable”.

But nuts to all that.

Introverts change the world with their thoughtfulness, empathy and focus. The rest is noise.

Leave easy deus ex machina endings to cheap sci-fi TV. Your novel deserves a grander triumph at the end.

Add in signposting for your protagonist's final choices, struggles and sacrifices. Make them earn that last page.

This feedback hurts. If your plot twists are falling flat with your readers, try adding in some red herrings that mean something (just not what the reader thinks they do).

Surprise can be one of the most reading memorable moments.
