Headbands (or also referred to as Endbands) come in a variety of styles. They are not just decorative their function is also to support the leather Headcaps when the Book form is covered in its chosen material. Damage often occurs when books are carelessly removed from shelving.

Where at all possible, the original Spine element of a binding's covering material will retained and relaid upon the repair leather. Commonly referred to as ' Rebacking '...📖🙂
