@DavidJ_Cole Styles make fights undoubtedly, but someone actually looking like they can box as opposed to sluggers giving it a go is the difference. Not saying Zhang doesn’t win against Rico, but Rico looked more the part than any other cross over fighter has ever. IMO.

Regardless of the result though, that was the best performance I’ve seen any fighter put in against Usyk. Rico would cause most top level heavyweights problems based on that.

@DavidJ_Cole No not really. I thought Fury seriously underestimated him and that’s what made Ngannou’s performance look half decent but in reality he wasn’t a boxer and Joshua showed that.

Rico looked very good, awkward, strong, imposing and good movement. But time will tell I guess.

Interested to see what happens next for Rico. He was beating one of the best boxers of our generation and I think he causes problems for any current heavyweight in their twilight years. Deserves another big fight either way but he might be avoided based on that 😅 #UsykRico
