I live where there’s a hodgepodge of old (safe) streetlights and defective LED (3000K or higher) streetlights. Asked @PresTweets if they’ve given up on enforcing the old lighting ordinances, and if they could switch to deploying amber/orange LED streetlights. The mayor’s office didn’t respond.
Just yesterday I noticed what looked like nice diffuse amber lights at Prescott’s waste transfer station (2000k? - hard to tell as it was daytime). These seemed much safer than the artificial suns (3000k or 4000k) that are being deployed on the streets. City of Prescott: can we please have safe LED streetlights? Thx.
Flagstaff has some orange LED streetlights that are pretty good. Apparently low pressure sodium bulbs (pure orange) are discontinued, and aren’t available at any price. Flagstaff is putting some white LED tubes in those fixtures, hopefully as a temporary measure. 😢

I’ve been on a quest for the holy grail of “relaxation” since I suffered a concussion when I was 17 years old. I experienced it once, following a few sessions with a certain type of massage. The effect lasted about a week and a half before the all-over tension resumed. I went back to bet the next summer, but she didn’t have the ability to repeat the effect.
I eventually found a reference describing what she did to produce total relaxation, but haven’t yet found a way to implement the instructions.

@ChrisPalmerMD Before HFCS, sodas were sweetened with beet sugar, and refills cost extra. The enzymatic processes that turns corn glucose into fructose made “free refills” financially viable.
@farmer_ash_@USDA Edgar Cayce recommended patapar paper:

The company that made this paper got bought out, and is now in Minnesota (iirc).
Sorry to hear about your son. Addiction would have been understood by now, if medicine hadn’t been captured by con artists.
My friend was held hostage in a rehab facility, month after month, on account of her value as an involuntary client.
They did help her figure out that she’s a poor methylator, #MTHFR. She said adding a methylated form of vitamin B-9 to her routine was like flipping a switch from “depressed” to “not-depressed”. But it was too late: the involuntary psychiatrists only added the vitamin to her involuntary tranquilizer. Later doctors didn’t care that she is poisoned by folic acid, or any of the other insights the ram she’d’ve has figured out about why people do what they do to themselves.
Last year I went to @AZAGMayes’ listening tour to share my observation that “modern Arizona’s protection racket is particularly vicious to women that make the mistake of trusting their doctor.”
@krismayes said to leave my contact informatio. I guess @arizonaago’s official response is that when the state is an active participant in the deprivation of its citizens’ rights there’s nothing you can do.
@ChrisPalmerMD’s book was published after my last petition to #SCOTUS was docketed, or I might have referenced it. (22A181 is the best place to start.)
Hope your son improves.
@MindOfIntra@NoahRyanCo There are videos on YouTube about making your own latex mattress.
… I haven’t watched all of this linked video, but it’s 13 years old. Ken Hightower also has some videos that are more than 10 years old.

@breenka34@TipOfTheBanana Even the least concentrated form of lugol’s is a substantial amount of iodine per drop. There are a few different conditions resulting from iodine excess.
Eggs and dairy are reliable sources of iodine.

@BadreNicolas I wonder how SSRI’s become the standard of care for postpartum depression. What was available before fluoxetine (Prozac) was approved in 1986?
@TipOfTheBanana I’m interested in hearing more about the reason “mono and diglycerides” are used. I think they’re submarined into foods as emulsifiers, but they’re certainly problematic.
@chrisjamesdubey The tragedy of postpartum depression is that the condition is completely understood. The causes are known. The interventions are simple and cheap.
But the medical profession has lost control of their industry. I think the institutionalized abuse of women is a political problem.
Not insulin nor ECT. I think they didn’t even realize their therapy was pro-metabolic.
I’m working on a petition for @AZAGMayes, to inquire what postpartum women can do after Arizona suspends the most fundamental of their human rights so that they can be helped. I guess I should make a video about this book to go along with the petition.
Psychiatry was really close to a breakthrough in the 1950’s - I have a copy of their book. Then the first “psych drugs” got approved, and the next generation mostly forgot what had been figured out.
After the assisted outpatient programs got set up, 1970’s psychiatrists didn’t even have to care if their interventions actually worked.
AFAICT, Lindsay Clancy’s initial treatment with the SSRI was entirely consistent with the standard of care for treating women who get the postpartum blues. Do you have any insights into how this came to be the “standard” treatment?
If only we could implement what was figured out in the 1950’s…
I went to @AZAGMayes’ listening tour and said, essentially, “I too am concerned. But people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”
I said the federal government’s job is to protect us from states that prey on their own citizens.
Lindsay Clancy is a textbook case of what happens when you let con artists control the medical industry.
@Kate18Marie The plants are dealing with spider mites. Yesterday we learned that spraying them with Bronner’s peppermint soap 4x/day should get rid of the mites, so they can build leaves again.
