@VirginActiveUK @VickyAnscombe @VirginActiveUK your new app is absolutely useless
I cannot believe an agency designed it ,someone signed it off and you then launched it to the world
It wasn’t broken, it is now, great effort
@HighwaysEAST @EPRoadsPolicing @ECFRS@EastEnglandAmb If this was in France they’d push everything to the side of the rd, no doubt we’ll still be here in the morning
@essextc Agree, safer school streets are far better than the draconian proposals many parents link journeys too. You could stop through traffic from 8.30-9.15 and 2.45-3.30 with the same result with far less negative impact for the residents. Other than that there is no traffic problem
@essextc It won’t work, however it’s presented newlondon rd, army and navy, parkway and Waterhouse lane are already over capacity, forcing residents to make their journeys via these routes won’t solve anything
@essextc There simply isn’t the infrastructure to support this and where’s the evidence that we need this, there’s no traffic survey, no traffic modelling and I would say most walk/cycle here when they can this won’t stop those that drive anyway
@essextc There needs to be a lot more detail I think it has the beginnings of a good idea but is Poorly conceived, for example I live in hamlet and don’t see how a cycle lane fits along there too. Quartering would have an enormous negative impact on so many peoples lives
