1)Dreamscheme NI is launching a transformative digital media project across five housing estates in Belfast and Antrim, with support from the James Kane Foundation. Young people at risk of exclusion will gain hands-on experience in video, podcasting, digital marketing and AI.
1) Belfast Charitable Society, along with @JKF and
@MAMcCFoundation funds a co-ordinator role for the Shankill Primary School Active Learning Community, bringing together principals from 8 schools to work on the unique challenges and opps facing children and families in the area.
2) Last week the Shankill Principals' Area Learning Community held their first Good Practice Conference in Riddel Hall. 140 teachers from 8 schools came together to collaborate, helping schools in the Shankill community to deliver a stronger, more connected education for all.
2) Over the first year the project will engage 330 pupils, creating a lasting legacy of opportunity, confidence, and employability for some of the region’s most at-risk learners. This is the first project of its kind in NI and we are delighted to offer funding support to it.
1)Recently we agreed to fund an EOTAS Project which will see 17 Key Stage 4 centres deliver a OCNNI qualification in Creative Arts & Digital Technologies. This initiative ensures pupils—many from disadvantaged backgrounds—gain access to one of today’s fastest-growing industries.
