@Collect Hoping you guys can square away the $3000 Kobe Bryant slab I sold 9 days ago with no payment. Been asking for help with customer service for over a week. Worst experience ever. @Topps
I’m not usually one to complain on social media, but i recently got into a break on whatnot by goingtwice_sports and won a Gold Prizm XRC Cam Ward Redemption. I waited for my package to arrive and opened it with excitement just to find the XRC was missing. I’m at a loss of words.
I’m sad it’s over but I’m taking the L better than expected. I think it’s because even though they got shut down back to back games I know they gave it their all. Shildt and this group showed their commitment throughout the year so 2 games isn’t going to diminish things for me. Sometimes you just gotta tip your cap to the opposing team. Their pitching stepped up big time. Roberts managed it perfectly too. There are lessons to be learned from it especially with the bullpen game they employed. It’s something the Padres should explore in the future for the playoffs because I see the bullpen as a strength moving forward even though they’re losing Scott.
This was my most enjoyable year watching Padres baseball. Honestly this team made me fall in love with baseball again after last year’s team made me uncontrollably angry. I don’t blame anyone either for the team’s shortcomings. You win as a team and you lose as a team. This was the closest group I’ve seen. I’ll run it back 10/10 times with this group and I’m willing to bet there’s a ring in there somewhere.
I am hopeful for the future I think if they bottle the second half attitude/play and start the season with it they’ll have a shot at the division. Preller has showed me his growth as a decision maker and that makes me hopeful as well. Merrill, King, Shildt, and Niebla extensions, high end SP, bringing Profar and Higgy back are the priorities for me this offseason. Keep this group together. Go Padres.
Peter Seidler instilled a hope in San Diego that I will never forget. He made my hometown fall in love with baseball again. An incredible man, even more so for his efforts away from this baseball team. To say he will be missed is a massive understatement. 💔
Papa Pete allowed me to dream about possibilities that I never thought was possible for the Padres. You could see the love he had for the team. To see an owner have the same passion I had as a fan man it was beautiful. I’m still in shock.
Don, Mud, Jesse, Tony.
Can’t say enough good things about those four. Brutal season but they brought it every single day. One of the best things about being a Padres fan is how lucky we are to have them.
