Sport enthusiast 🏉🏏🐎, pointless stat chat and the odd weather update

[James @jamesmangin]

KINGMAN! Bang what a win

[James @jamesmangin]

Metcalf doesn’t need to train with the team.

Get him with Michael Witt for 5 full days and watch him never miss a kick. Try anything

[James @jamesmangin]

Chilly Thursday night in Christchurch has me wondering, will we ever see Akuta back on a race track?

[James @jamesmangin]

Fuck I love golf

[James @jamesmangin]

Whilst I'm at it. Three World Test XI's based majorly on 2024 performances

No room for Virat. Some openers limping into contention

[James @jamesmangin]

Thought I'd throw together a current Anzac XI.

Khawaja averaging 24.07 in 2024 compared to Conway's 21.44 so has to be included.

Cam Green in for Santner if fit and shuffle around the batting order.

Steven Peter Devereux Smith will captain the side

[James @jamesmangin]

Just had Taco Bell for the first time. Wowee. Now to see how the body reacts in the next 6 hours

[James @jamesmangin]

Gotta be the busiest I’ve ever seen Addington on a non NZ cup meeting. Cracking atmosphere

[James @jamesmangin]

Great day to be a swing bowler in Christchurch #cloudy #weatherwatch

[Trackside NZ @TracksideNZ]

'Keayang Zahara, she is the Chosen One!'💥

It was like poetry in motion watching Keayang Zahara tear away to victory in the inaugural running of The Ascent with a confident Jason Lee drive for Australian trainer Margaret Lee

[James @jamesmangin]

Still can’t get my head around the drive on Merlin yesterday. Surely knows that swayzee is coming at some point so why hand to Don’t Stop Dreaming.

26 third quarter was also outrageous

[James @jamesmangin]

It’s game day! #nzcup

[James @jamesmangin]

I think the All Blacks sides of the last 3 years have galvanised supporters more than 2011-2015.

We expect to win, but know we might not. Adds an edge to every test, winning is celebrated as it should be.

Maybe this is similar to the 80/90’s?

[James @jamesmangin]

That’s not a dead heat!

[James @jamesmangin]

Probably a touch rogue to mention Manjimup in the same breath as NZ Cup Winners but mrs won't be happy if I don't mention the horse she owned

[James @jamesmangin]

Only been following Harness Racing intently for a couple of years, but that's now Copy That, Self Assured, Old Town Road, Sundees Son, Spankem Millwood Nike, Krug and Manjimup to call time in past 12 months.

I'm sure I'm missing more as well

[James @jamesmangin]

1st #NZCup Rankings out.

Massive middle finger to Grimmo and his touring party with all three of his outside the 15. Speak the Truth and Alta Meteor probably the most fortunate

[James @jamesmangin]

What a horse #krug

[Kentuckiana Lodge @KentuckianaNZ]

[James @jamesmangin]

@GuerinSports Thanks Mick, looking at a full campaign in Canterbury heading into NZ Cup then or plans to get back for Vic Cup?
