@hankgreen And if it's just one person it would work the same. Each segment of the person pushes the last. That momentum doesn't disappear. I mean to tell me they exit at the speed of a moving train, then stop completely? Either they come out full speed, or they come out as a pancake.

@hankgreen Each person is pushing the next out of the way. But they're pushing them at the speed of the train, as that's the speed they entered the portal. So wouldn't that momentum be preserved? After the last person enters, the others are moving fast enough to pull him along. (2/3?)
