@Jud1960 He only wrote one full-scale, completed violin concerto. There may be smaller pieces or uncompleted fragments, but I'm not expert enough to know. Perhaps this was a reference to three piano concertos, though the third is incomplete - the Concert Fantasia.
Finally the last stitch is in, and I can now reveal my latest embroidery. I hope you enjoy… I’m off to stretch and give my hands a rest! 😉🪡🌿🌺
*All completely freehand stitched, no patterns, paint, or guides just plenty of threads.

@hugh_canning Plenty of scope for the director's imagination there. I imagine if you're made of stone your fists are pretty handy at punching through locked doors.
The strange thought has occurred to me that today Don Giovanni could have had a video doorbell and avoided a lot of bother. Also Mimi would be cured, Iago swiftly cancelled, and the entire cast of The Ring sent for therapy. 🤔🎶

@Waggetteone Thank you, those are wonderful. I still have on my bookshelf the DA 60th anniversary catalogue - incredible to get it for free, it's a book in itself.
@Waggetteone Yes I think that's the one. I love the name of your rose - DA does such great names, The Poet's Wife being my favourite. What an honour it is to have a rose named after you, better than any OBE!
@Waggetteone It's a succulent I rescued from my scatty sister's house where it probably hadn't had a drink in years. The resilience of succulents is astounding, and one judicious cutting later off it goes again!
