It was fascinating to me to hear about Socrates' passing and how it motivated Plato to carry on his legacy. Today, Plato is the sole source from which we can deduce what Socrates was saying. #ewp22

In a sense, Plato's suggestion that you enter the World of the Forms is not what you should do. His thesis is that you must think independently; but, if you embark on this path because Plato said to, then you are not acting independently. #ewp22

I believe psychological egoism to be true, particularly in the current world. It seems to be in our nature to seek out pleasure while avoiding discomfort. Politicians, kids, and pretty much everyone else in our environment are all doing it. #ewp22
