First Amendment and Free Speech

It is alarming that we have reached a juncture where free speech, once considered a liberal value, is now being challenged by a desire for censorship from the left.

We must be deeply worried about any action that undermines the First Amendment, which guarantees freedom of speech.

The reason behind the inclusion of the First Amendment is that people who migrated from countries where they were not allowed to express their views without fear of imprisonment, recognized the value of free speech.
