For the last three weeks, I’ve been reporting live from Birmingham Crown Court.
Majid Novsarka faces up to 14 years in prison, solely on the basis of social media posts.
Here’s what the jury were NOT told:🧵
Zack Polanski's Jewish identity is being erased because he is leftwing.
It is an utterly transparent - and deeply sinister - campaign from our media and political elites.
The Iranian president defending the Pope from attacks by the US President.
And condemns his blasphemy against Jesus Christ.
What a timeline we live in!
What an incredibly immoral waste of resources.
Peaceful protesters quietly holding signs expressing forbidden opinions of solidarity against genocide, arrested en-masse by this ridiculous force on behalf of a craven, pathetic government.
UK media is forbidden from reporting these shocking facts:
Palestine Action is being deceptively tried for “terrorism,” with jurors being told it’s a mere criminal trial
PA’s lawyer faces contempt of court for mounting an effective defense
The British state is so desperate to crush these antiwar activists and preserve Israeli death factories on its soil that it is resorting to crude anti-democratic tactics and corrupting the entire jury system
Trump just wrote a deranged essay attacking the Pope because he wasn’t in favor of the Iran war.
The world is watching the mental breakdown of a defeated man.
I'm honestly shocked.
The BBC quotes Republican politician Randy Fine calling Tucker Carlson an antisemite.
Randy Fine is an extreme racist. And I mean, really extreme.
He has said:
"If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one."
"‘Palestinian’ is just another word for demon."
In reference to "mainstream Muslims", he said: “I don’t know how you make peace with those who seek your destruction. I think you destroy them first."
“There is no suffering adequate for these animals. May the streets of Gaza overflow with blood.”
"“Palestinian” = Hamas. #BombsAway"
"Gaza must be destroyed."
These are all direct quotes. I could go on.
What was the BBC thinking? How could they possibly conclude that this was an acceptable person to quote on anything, let alone on the question of racism?
If a Republican politician had said similar statements about Jewish people, would the BBC quote them? No, they would not, they would - rightly - think that would be a scandalous thing to do.
Seriously, what the hell is the justification here? What is the defence?
How are Muslims supposed to do anything other than conclude that the BBC has contempt for them?
EXCLUSIVE: I have uncovered evidence suggesting that Labour Together, the think tank of Morgan McSweeney fame, is now being led by a former IDF soldier.
This information does not appear on his Wikipedia page or in ANY recent articles.
I cannot believe Labour have hidden this:🧵
It's now been 3 hours since our supposed "ally" Donald Trump threatened genocide on a country of 93 million people.
We've had absolutely nothing from the UK government.
This doesn't come in a vacuum either - every day the US & Israel have been murdering innocent people.
The UK must immediately and unequivocally suspend support for the US military.
The Government have tried to appease him, then they tried to say they're standing up to him.
Words aren't enough - it's time for action.
