I published my part 4 where I cover Developers and Zoning https://t.co/WgqniJH19k
I also demo the first "city" gameplay but it's pretty lofi at this moment. I am currently building some new UI around the markets and budgeting screens!
@marco_edg No name yet, I made discord and there is a thread there discussing it! I have a project name but no formal name. I want to avoid the word "city" in it, I feel the SEO for all that is taken by the big city builders.

Making my dream city builder: Part 3 - City Simulation https://t.co/765XPMebo4
In this I not only cover what I want to do, but the history of some city simulators and a peek into what academia are doing in regards to agent based simulations.
My dear front-end developers (and anyone whoโs interested in the future of interfaces):
I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept):
Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow
I finally published my code for my FigmaToBabylonJS plugin under MIT license. Its been 4 years since my first commit and something I hope others in the #babylonjs space can get use from and add to it.
I launched the latest version of my Figma to Babylonjs Figma plugin.
This latest version is a whole rewrite, which included having to make upstream changes to the core Babylonjs GUI engine to help bridge the gap between @babylonjs and @figma

@minchoi Am I the only one who's noticed that in this first video dude has the hood of a Crownvic with bull bars on his crotch?
It seemed the AI has been trained using police body cams and police dashcams interchangeably.
So happy to see my plugin being showcased by @babylonjs !
I have always wanted to find a way to leverage design tools like #figma to make UI development faster especially in #gamedev, and Babylon.js makes that easy since all UI can be parsed via JSON.
Part of what makes #opensource software amazing is the community of contributors that build it together. Babylon.js 6.0 is only days away and features a @figma to Babylon exporter built by community member @jamessimo!

@SirSteven As someone who had to choose between NIO and Tesla in China.
We were impressed with CN model Y. But, we were on a 6-month waiting list and, all the benefits early Tesla users got we didn't get. So we went with NIO ES6 as they gave us all the benefits of being a NIO member.
๐ How to Make a Video Game All By Yourself launched one month ago today -- to celebrate, I'm giving away 3 digital copies.
