I wanna praise my fave a bit in his new role, Nine.

JamesSu is handsome, ridiculously handsome. The character comes to life through JamesSu in such a perfect way. He can be beautiful when he needs to be, elegant and slay when he wants to be, and effortlessly sweet when the moment calls for it. His visuals are simply undeniable.

Through JamesSu’s performance, Nine comes across as someone who knows exactly when to step forward and when to hold back. He knows when to speak, when to react, and when to simply stay silent and observe.

Nine doesn’t have a lot of dialogue in Episode 1, but JamesSu makes every subtle expression count. Every raised eyebrow, every sweet smile and charming when the cameras are on, scheming smile in off camera, or simply provocative when teasing Third, is delivered with such clarity. Each reaction is placed exactly where it needs to be, never overdone, yet expressive enough to reveal Nine’s intentions perfectly.

For now, after Episode 1, I’m satisfied with JamesSu’s acting skill. It was an absolutely wonderful performance and a great start to the series 🤍
