I read a chapter of the Bible every night with my 10yo. Started Numbers tonight. After reading chapter 1, he said, “I know that that was more than 50 verses, but I actually really like reading those lists like that.”

@Joseph_Spurgeon Jason Staples is good on this topic. If I understand him correctly, he argues that “Jews” and “all Israel” are not synonymous terms. Jews are Judahites from the southern kingdom who actually returned from exile. At Paul’s time, there were whole Israelite tribes unaccounted for.

Those protesters entered a cultural setting with no intentions of respecting it, and instead they brought chaos and scared people. Kind of reminds me why ICE exists. God bless ICE!
