I’m genuinely trying to understand CAF’s logic here.

You just suspended Pape Thiaw for protesting against your poor officiating.

Yet we have clear video evidence of poor and visibly biased officiating against Senegal, nigeria etc?

Add to that the clear video evidence from multiple matches showing Morocco staff & even players like Hakimi interfering & harassing opponent goalkeepers, e.g., by removing their towels.

First with Nwabali (Nigeria), then again with Edouard Mendy (Senegal).

Same act. Same evidence.
No investigation. No sanction.

So what exactly are African teams expected to do?
Stay silent or be punished for speaking up?

This isn’t Senegal vs Morocco.
It isn’t Nigeria vs anyone.
It’s about fairness, consistency, and respect for African football.

Personally, I will be exploring every formal avenue available to challenge this suspension, because silence only normalizes injustice.

We stand with Pape Thiaw.

MR. PRESIDENT, SIT DOWN AND RETHINK

Mr. President, sometimes silence speaks louder than a thousand microphones. Watching you abroad casually brand Kenyans as “average thinkers” was not leadership , it was arrogance in a suit. You forget, sir, that it’s those same “average thinkers” who braved hunger, dust, and long queues to put you in State House. In my village we say, when a tree forgets its roots, the wind reminds it where it came from.

You found systems that were working , education that was functional, NHIF that was serving, and public institutions that only needed discipline, not demolition. Now every sector you’ve “reformed” is on life support, gasping for order. You replaced NHIF with SHA, promised a miracle, but delivered confusion. You dismantled CBC before understanding it, and you call that innovation.

Even the so-called “new models” , from housing levy to Hustler Fund , sound more like fundraising drives than government policy. A government that spends billions to make life harder for its people should stop calling itself visionary. You don’t cure a fever by cutting off the patient’s head.

Mr. President, with all due respect, Kenya doesn’t need a motivational speaker-in-chief. We need a listener-in-chief , a leader who walks with his people, not above them. You can’t keep fumbling everything that was working, then travel abroad to mock the very people holding this country together.

Take a chair, breathe, and rethink. This country will not move forward through intimidation or lectures, but through inclusion and humility. Kenya doesn’t lack thinkers , it lacks a president humble enough to listen to them.

Imagine losing your child… and not even knowing when or how it happened.

15-year-old Ian Gichagua Maingi, a Form 2 student at Njumbi High School, is missing.
A bright, disciplined, and cheerful boy — full of dreams and potential.
Nothing seemed unusual until 17th October, when Ian’s mother, Jennifer Muthoni, received a text from the school saying students would be released for the long December holidays. She was happy her son had completed the term well. The school even praised his performance in another message.

But when the students were released the next morning, Ian never came home.

Earlier in September, Mama Ian had visited the school after hearing that students with school fees balances would be sent home. She pleaded with the administration to allow her son to stay as she tried to clear the balance. The school agreed — and that’s the last comfort she had.

When she didn’t see Ian among those sent home for fees, she thought he was safe and studying.

But on 18th October, as other parents welcomed their children home, Mama Ian waited for the notification that never came.
When she called the school, a teacher said the students had already left hours earlier. Later, Ian’s class teacher claimed he had gone home weeks ago due to school fees. But the principal denied ever sending him home.

That’s when reality hit — her son had been missing for nearly three weeks, and the school never noticed.
A classmate said Ian had mentioned feeling unwell and wanting to go home after church on Sunday, 28th September. But his mother never received any leave-out message — and the school has no idea how he left.

The matter is now reported at Nyakianga Police Station, under OB Number 13/19/10/2025 at 1511 hours.

Now a family is living through every parent’s worst nightmare — wondering where their child is, whether he’s safe, or if he’s even alive.

If you think refusing to vote punishes politicians, you’re wrong it rewards them. The corrupt thrive when the good stay home. The old guard knows your frustration; that’s why they keep recycling the same faces, same empty promises, same tired theatrics every election cycle. They bet on your hopelessness.

But enough is enough. You can’t keep crying about bad leadership while refusing to fight for better. The system doesn’t fear your anger it fears your action.

Get up. Mobilize. Register. Vote. Because if we don’t show up, we’ll keep being ruled by the same rotten hands that have crippled this nation for decades.

The revolution starts at the registration desk not on Twitter, not in bars, not in funerals.
Wake up, youth. The future doesn’t need your complaints it needs your participation.

I saw news that Ruto’s govt has "waived" the 1,000 bob ID fee until after 2027.

My brothers & sisters, don’t be fooled.

He’s the same one who introduced that fee, now pretending to be our saviour as elections draw near.

You even saw him last week drinking soda from a bottle, even fake crying for cameras. 🤦🏽‍♂️ They think Kenyans have short memories.

But you, the ones who stay alert, who ask questions, who refuse to be lied to, you’re the real hope of this country. ✊🏽

We won’t be fooled twice.

Just like we sent Uhuru & his tricks home, we’ll do the same to Ruto.
