The first athletes representing GB & NI at the IAU World 100km Championships have been confirmed ๐
Four athletes secured their place after the trial race at the Sri Chinmoy 100km in March.
The Championships take place in Bengaluru, India on 7 December 2024 ๐ฎ๐ณ
Last weekend 8 athletes represented England at the Anglo Celtic Plate 100k in Perth, Scotland! Sarah Webster not only won the women's race, but set a new European record of 7:03:48. James Turner led the English men home in 2nd (6:34:38). Read more โคต https://t.co/HWadSObjzT
For a men a sensational run from James Turner finishing 2nd supported by Alex Milne and Michael Young for a team silver. Jo Turner also with an excellent PB for 3rd.
In the 50k an incredible run from Ronnie Richmond for a new British Record of 2:48.

With sadness, we share news of the death of former @BrightonAthlete Dave Boxall who was one of @SussexAA and @BritAthletic's top long-distance Race Walkers. Dave developed #dementia in 2014 and died on 8th January. We send our sincere condolences to his family and friends.๐
