@JackLUFC1919 I suppose it’ll depend on what you expect to happen first, DCL to get injured or we get found out and need something different. I think I’d like a DCL clone because I think the former will happen first. Plus we have options in other areas to change things.
This is a really good thing, being marketed terribly. I will often ask someone to repeat a history even if it's written in the notes because I will always pick up new things.Sometimes those are the key to the diagnosis. The repetition is not just to inconvenience, it's a tool
I know how distressing it is for patients to repeat their medical history over and over.
And the effort it takes for NHS staff to get the information they need.
We'll join up this fragmented system, helping clinicians give safer, co-ordinated care.
@DrEilidhMaria Better off looking at the JVP than anything else. You're trying to work if the kidneys aren't working because of hypovolemia or congestion. You need to look at the intravascular volume status. In *most* cases, pedal oedema is a surrogate marker, but not always (eg low albumin)
@Nyct0phil3_x @SolihullOwl1979 As I said, I don’t have access to that one unfortunately. But also as above, the systematic review in 2021 is much more reliable than an literature review with unknown methods (unless you have access and and post a screenshot) from 2009
@Nyct0phil3_x @SolihullOwl1979 Yes, and if you scroll up you’ll see in this section they are referring to detoxification of domestic gas as a form of suicide prevention. A completely different topic :)
@Nyct0phil3_x @SolihullOwl1979 It is also outdated from 2009. Your second study is much more robust and a systematic review! The methods appear well thought out. It does however support MY point that it reduces paracetamol deaths *without* an equivalent shift to other methods. Not sure this was your intention?
@Nyct0phil3_x @SolihullOwl1979 Your first study I don’t have access to the full text. However, this is a literature review and not a systematic review. Good for providing context or background for new research, but poor at answering specifics. I can’t comment on the rest of the methods unless you have access?
@Nyct0phil3_x What it isn’t saying is that paracetamol OD has gone down but overall suicides have stayed the same. It’s not made very clear in the abstract but is much clearer in the full text
@Nyct0phil3_x So the authors have accounted for that and concluded that paracetamol OD has still be decreased by more than expected despite the expected fall in line with other drugs. If during this period overall suicide fell, you would expect paracetamol to fall too. But it fell by more
Today proved to the fans that have been saying it for a while that there is more to get out of this squad, irrespective of the opposition. It also proved it to Farke, but will he learn any lessons from it for Chelsea and Liverpool? I doubt it.
@Reezyduzit247 @RyanThomasMMA Importantly, the evidence for the harm caused by aspartame is incredibly limited. It is safe to consume unless in extremely high doses (around 14 cans of Diet Coke) where there is some very minimal evidence it may contribute to cancer risk. No need to avoid it👍
Farke had it all to prove, and slowly he’s starting to win me round. Gudmundson, Stach and especially DCL all are incredible signings and hopeful Bijol will come in at some point and contribute too. Imagine if we had Wilson or Buonanotte here too. Built a squad for survival well
